Mineralogie goes step beyond mineral-based makeup, Takes entire company “eco-friendly”

Mineralogie, the leading mineral makeup company has built its entire business on the core values of health conscious-beauty. Its line of natural mineral-based makeups are more than beautiful, they are actually good for your skin. The company is taking the same approach to operating its business.

The company has recently undergone a “green transformation” seeking to be as environmentally friendly as possible in every area of the business. Most notably, the creation of new biodegradable packaging for its product line. By 2008, Mineralogie’s packaging will utilize 100% organic and/or recycled materials. Some packaging is made from corn, other boxes and product wraps are made from recycled papers that come from sustainable tree farms.

Future plans include 100% biodegradable product containers. Mineralogie is actively seeking other cosmetic companies interested in joining forces to make development and procurement of these types of product containers happen faster.
